Summary: This vineyard is located on North of Red Mountain between West Richland and Benton City in the Columbia Valley appellation. The vines are planted on a South facing. Cabernet, Sangiovese, Merlot, Riesling, and Gewurztraminer are grown on this site.

2000: planted 5 acres of Cabernet, 5 acres of Sangiovese, 5 acres of Riesling, 5 acres of Gewurztraminer and 1 acre of Merlot

VINEYARD DETAILS:

Elevation: Soil : This is a Sandy loam soil 12 – 18 inches deep.

Rootstock: all vines are own-rooted

Irrigation: Drip irrigation, water is from the Yakima River.

Vine Crop Management :Vines are planted 6 feet apart with 8 foot rows. Training system is a bilateral cordon with Vertical shoot positioning system.
