Vintage: 2012 - Estate
This Merlot opens up with bright aromas of ripe blackberry and dark cherry with nuances of baking spices and cigar box. On the palate it is well balanced with integrated tannins, acidity and flavor. This wine evolves from dark plum, bright cherry and rich raspberry upfront to a touch of earthy tones and toasty mocha. Finishing with hints of nutmeg and clove and sweet, velvety tannins, this wine is approachable now, but will only get better with age.
Type: Rose of Syrah
The 2016 Rosé of Syrah is a pretty pale salmon color that is inviting and elegant! Fragrances of floral cherry and citrus blossom, candied fruit and bright strawberry jump out of the glass. On the palate flavors are fruit driven with pink grapefruit, Bing cherry, watermelon Jolly Rancher, strawberry rhubarb pie and an undertone of lime zest. This rosé offers a complexity of flavors with a touch of sweetness balanced by a zesty acidity and a long finish sure to please.
Our 2013 Syrah comes from the Wahluke Slope and makes a statement right away with aromas of rich boysenberry, dark plum and toasty caramel followed with hints of floral violet and dusty lavender. The palate is complex with fruit and earthy tone layers. Savory flavors of blueberry pie & jammy boysenberry explode on the palate that are followed by traces of sweet tobacco, baking spices and spicy white pepper. A lush mouth feel and firm tannins make this wine a food friendly or enjoyed on its own.
This Chardonnay is complex with a rich and round mouth feel then finishes bright and clean. On the nose there are huge aromas of baked pear and Golden Delicious apple with hints of lemon zest and fragrant sandalwood. On the palate this wine is rich and round with flavors of baked apples, juicy guava and white peach and finishes with undertones of butterscotch and vanilla.
Type: Pinot Gris
This Estate Grown Pinot Gris is bright, crisp and clean. It has aromas of Anjou pear, lemon pith and green apple Jolly Rancher. On your palate you will find flavors of fresh slices of Granny Smith apple, white grapefruit, lemon and lime zest and a finish of zippy white grapefruit and white nectarine, which offers pleasing acidity and a soft mouth feel.
A fruit forward wine done by partial barrel fermentation in Hungarian oak. Aromas of rose and honeysuckle are combined with fruit cocktail, lemon meringue and canned peaches. On your tongue you will find hints of sweet, ripe peach and apricot preserves that's backed by juicy nectarine, lemon juice and pear skin all wrapped up in a creamy, soft and lingering finish.
