Vineyard Timeline

  • 1997 - Jones Vineyards are planted on the Wahluke Slope.  Cabernet, Merlot, Chardonnay, and Syrah make up the bulk of acreage, while small lots of Viognier, Petite Syrah, Zinfandel, Cab Franc, and Sangiovese complete the 600 acres of wine grapes.
  • 2002 - Lewis and Clark vineyard planted in the Benton City area.  Cabernet, Sangiovese, Riesling, Gewurtzraminer, and Merlot make up the 22 acre vineyard.
  • 2001 - Two Gun vineyard planted north east of Quincy.  90 acres of Riesling and Gewurtztraminer planted.
  • 2006 - 20 acres of Pinot Gris and 10 more acres of Riesling Planted on Two Gun Vineyard.
  • 2007 - 135 acres of Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris are planted on Two Gun
  • 2007 - Jones vineyards plants 145 more acres on the Wahluke Slope.  Varieties include Marsanne, Cinsault, Petite Verdot, Grenache, Malbec, Roussanne, and Mourvedre.
